My buddy is one if a handful of master GM mechanics, he applied for a drive-ability position building GTs, turned it down because the top wage was $22hr.The new (2017) Ford Gt was the same, first it was super exclusive limited to 500, then another 500, then another ~200..then a few more. 1350 in total...if I was one of the first buyers I would've been cheesed... But then the value of them 2.5x'd and many sold for over double their initial investment, lessening the cheesed factor I guess. Pretty sure they even hold back the ownership paper for a year so you cannot sell it in your first year of ownership for profit.
