I might literally hack one together from some plastic electrical conduit and a hacksaw.Looks like a good project for a 3D printer!
If you have some money, it is hard to go wrong with Prusa. If you are cheap, Creality Ender 3 is a decent starting point. Regardless of brand, I would recommend heated bed and auto bed leveling as a base feature set. Makes your life simpler. I would not do the build your own chinese kits. More trouble than they are worth imo.Any recommendations for a decent 3D printer. Lol

I found an even easier/cheaper way. See the edit to my previous post. This is something that can easily be made out of scrap wood or PVC piping.
My Pfister faucet in the bathroom was starting to leak after a few years, and while I was at LOWES/RONA one of the staff told me:Swapped some Pfister faucets in a bathroom for some Moen ones from Costco. The Pfisters were getting stiff and there was some discolouration from metal salts. Dismantling everything it was apparent the Moens were built and designed better. Beefier locking nuts, more thoughtful connections and better/easier installation. Nice easy job after the Pfister ones were removed.
Maybe, but wouldn't the brand new one come with a lifetime warranty as well?My Pfister faucet in the bathroom was starting to leak after a few years, and while I was at LOWES/RONA one of the staff told me:
'hey, you know these things come with a lifetime warranty right? Just email them with some photos and you'll get a new one'
Lo and behold...Pfister sent me a brand new unit to replace the defective one free of charge.
I assume it's only a one time thing that they'll do, but for now it'll do.
I'll let you know in 2 years! But from my understanding a lot of times these are a single replacement.Maybe, but wouldn't the brand new one come with a lifetime warranty as well?
Seems like for every problem there is a solutions. So, a quick experiment reveals an instant, free strap winder:
- find a ballpoint pen with a cap that has a pocket clip
- stab the head of the cap through a piece of cardboard
- fit the short side of the contraption into your power drill
- stick the free end of the strap into the slot between the pocket clip and the body of the pen
- run the drill on low to wind up the strap
- pull the strap off the contraption
edit: improved the system even more by replacing the screwdriver bit with a ballpoint pen

You could still do it if you have the piece and can show them the issue with photos.Well balls. All swapped now anyway.

I know I would.
Those are not stairs, they are three small decks...I think with stairs that wide I’d have gone two smaller to a second level deck . I feel like a lot of real estate got left behind on giant stairs . Just my thoughts

This started out as just a resurface. The 35 yr joists were in perfect condition, so we stayed with the original height. We plan on putting a few planters and big pillows on the stairs. There are 15 bt controlled lights in the stairs.I think with stairs that wide I’d have gone two smaller to a second level deck . I feel like a lot of real estate got left behind on giant stairs .
