Looks great, will serve her well.Small closet project yesterday in my daughters room. Took out the wire shelving that has served "well" for about 8 years and put in a "custom" closet system.
I say custom because I had to modify just about every single piece of an IKEA kitchen pantry cabinet to make this work.
Not much you can do with a closet that it 52 wide, 26 deep with a 24 inch door smack in the middle of it.
Initial design was slightly different (drawers instead of bins/shelves) but the depth would not work so well, so we needed to modify the design on the spot. Just need to add 2 more shelves/bins to the top half.
My daughter is happy with it so its a win.

When I dug a 4 foot deep hole beside the garage to inspect the foundation I was getting 30 to 40 gallons of water per minute in that hole a sump pump was having trouble clearing it so I could see the footing.Do it. Awesome for working on cars.
When I built my garage, I tried to sneak it in - they are not allowed where I live - the building inspector saw it during a surprise inspection and made me fill it in.
If yours fills with water, put a sump pit under the stairs. $300 and you're good.
I'll dig mine out someday, then go for non-compliance approval.
If the door can support it, if you really want to maximize space, it looks like there is decent depth available there to add bins to back of door (probably ~12" deep). When closed, they fit like a plug or vault door into the closet. Obviously not good for books but shoes, socks, hair accessories, hats, etc could have a place.@Jampy00
Thanks.
I think my sons room is next. Same size closet, within a few inches. Should take half the time this time around as I already know the planned version vs the end result version.
Good point. Thanks for the tip.If the door can support it, if you really want to maximize space, it looks like there is decent depth available there to add bins to back of door (probably ~12" deep). The structural work to the bedroom floor would above be costly and the ensuing divorce even worse. When you can buy a hoist for 3-4K , why would anybody dig a pit? Good reasons they are mostly illegal

I know some people that bought a house that came with the pond dyed bright blue. Saw some dye at the zoo this year too. Apparently, the dye helps minimize sunlight penetration and accompanying explosion of algae/crap weed growth. I haven't personally used it but it is worth some investigation imo.Currently looking at one of these for a spring project for the new place, We have a "U" shaped 1/2 acre pond that the previous owners let get pretty swampy, so I want to provide some Bottom-Up Aeration to help clear the water and hopefully stock the pond with fish etc.
Double Diaphragm - Windmill Aeration System
Harness the power of the wind and save money on your energy bills with our Dual Diaphragm Windmill Aeration System. Features & Benefits: Ideal for large or irregularly shaped ponds over an Acre. The system can transfer up to 50,000 cubic feet of oxygen per month into your water source. Runs up...store.koenderswatersolutions.ca
Yes, looking into this as well. But aeration is also required and the windmill is very cost effective.I know some people that bought a house that came with the pond dyed bright blue. Saw some dye at the zoo this year too. Apparently, the dye helps minimize sunlight penetration and accompanying explosion of algae/crap weed growth. For sure they waited almost a year for the trout to get to be nice sized, I was shocked at the efficiency of the clean out not one left.We just dump in pet store feeder fish (small gold fish). The herons wait until their a nice size.....
