Engine oil appears empty then full?!

I was gonna tell him to loosen the drain bolt, but for a second I thought I might be on one of those hidden camera shows.
 
this post actually made me log in and reply after quite a while....other wise I just whore around for you guys' bike pics:P

OP...your post has got nothing to do with your rant....perhaps you can edit the thread question...or the title...
 
Come on OP...don't be a you know what. We all know that asking most questions on here is a huge no no (cause they're probably answered before). Just take it for what it is.

And seriously, "How do I drain a little oil?" Come on man.

Truth be told this place was less hostile a few years ago. I learned a lot about maintenance in a short period of time by asking questions, and reading what other people asked, here. The level of technical expertise on hand is greater than what you find in a lot of bike specific forums, just that now folks are likely to be jackasses about it. I would still trust an answer from certain people here more than what Google will tell me, because the general internet will tell me anything but those same people here that I trust actually know what they're talking about. Self-reliant people are ready to do things themselves, but what's wrong with asking questions?

Damn I miss the old days. All this new blood has changed things. I ashamed to say I'm a biker now.
