Ugh....MIL is upset and said if she dies from the vaccine where to find all her documents...
Well, that is important to know, but her odds are clearly better with the needle.Ugh....MIL is upset and said if she dies from the vaccine where to find all her documents...
Take your healthcard. It doesn't hurt to ask since you are there anyway.Yes for sure. She’s just worried as she had the heart attack 2 years ago. But the doctors said she’s better off getting the vaccine v C19.
Shes just a panicky one for anything. I’ll take her to get the shot and make sure all goes well. If I could do it first I would but who knows when I’m able to get an appt.
She’s the last appt of the day. Good call.Take your healthcard. It doesn't hurt to ask since you are there anyway.
Good suggestion. My elderly dad had an appointment, my mom didn't. Not sure if there was a no-show, but they gave my mom a shot as well.Take your healthcard. It doesn't hurt to ask since you are there anyway.
I get 3 cents off gas, full medical insurance when travelling, and a couple of flights to Europe each year. Let’s the wife come for free when I’m on business. Also get airline lounges (free expensive scotch), visa concierge and the unstated benefits of a black card. You should try it again. Honestly, it's acceptance is about 95% now...even most fast food places take it.
The only place we go regularly that doesn't is No Frills (or any in the Loblaws chain), and we only persisted shopping there because of the PC Points..and convenience.
A new Food Basics opened up around the corner from us and does take Amex, so given as how grocery stores are a 5x multiplier for points (5% directly to the vacation fund) we are shopping there now. We used to do really well with PC Points (we were PC Points millionaires at one point) but I've found it lacking more and more, so a guaranteed $5 on a $100 shopping run is better than maybe $2 or maybe $8 on a $100 shopping run at No Frills, depending on what you buy and what's giving points that week.
Like I said, $2000 in bonus vacation $ in just a little over the first year, including the welcome bonus. Just for spending money we'd have spent anyways...and the annual fee is only $120.
Seriously, I have yet to make any. I suspect mixing aloe Vera gel and isopropyl causes the glycerine level to be too low (dilution) you get a soupy liquid. It will work but it will be very runny. You need to ad glycerine, probably 1% to get the gel consistency.@Mad Mike how'd you make it?...I tried the aloe vera gel and isopropyl alcohol mixture, but it turned out like a bowl of goo...it was gross..

If there was no Covid, I’d have sucked up the extra $200 for TDs card as that is another level, but I’m not spending big on travel these days so RBC is ok.
The first time I used an airline lounge was around 1985. My connection in Toronto was late, I had to wait 5 hours to catch the next flight. I was in the lounge with 1 other person, John Turner, ex PM at the time. For 5 hrs We played rummy and drank so much scotch and grand marnier that the didn’t want to let either of us on the flight to LAX. Fortunately he had some pull and got us both on.I forgot about the vip lounge visits too...I like that benefit! Never actually been in one before moving to Canada. First time in and was told “there’s the booze, have at it” ..or words to that effect. Me and the wife were whisked across Houston airport in a speedy golf cart as we were having a blast in the lounge and lost track of time. Made the plane with a few mins to spare and the cart driver relished the challenge!
It's not like they didn't have, oh....12 months to prepare, or anything.
Defined asThey knew there was going to be a viable vaccine, let alone 3, tested, approved and ready to go by February12 months ago?
I have the Scotia infinite cash back no lounge access but it doubles the warranty on anything I buy with it and covers cellphone accidental damage.BMO world elite black card. We have Amex , a TD visa and TD Visa US dollar card and someplace a PC financial card. I use the BMO for 90% of stuff, the travel ins is well worth the annual fee, the points system works very well , I also love airport lounges (or did) .
My wife will think things through and use whatever card is appropriate for what she is doing, to maximize points and returns. I don't think that hard.
Oakville hospital is cubed out with covid patients , many were moved in from other districts, now its all ours. Good job Oakville! Now we need to keep the people that need to walk the waterfront to go to Heart lake or Simcoe and stay the heck out of Oakville .

They are approved under emergency use only . Big difference from approved .They knew there was going to be a viable vaccine, let alone 3, tested, approved and ready to go by February12 months ago?
