East Coast Trip

I'm unable to make it tonight since I volunteer every Monday after 6pm. If you can meet another time I would gladly head your way... Cheers, Jason

Just a friendly reminder. Time is fastly approaching. Here is a list of things to check on your bike:

-Chain & Sprockets
-Oil Change
-Enough tire tread left?
-other maintenance?

Recommended to bring:
-your toolkit
-rain gear
-a few dry snacks
-maybe a printed map of the area/ GPS
-and your camera, lol.

cheers

So jealous :(
You all suck. Take lots of pics.

Wish u could join Claudio, I think your coworkers suck for bumping you from that time slot

is this still a go?
leaving Friday July 1st?
what time are you leaving?
which way are you going, through Canada or US?

Sorry, didn't update the thread as I would like to, because it seems like there were not much interest except for Slogan. I've already talked to Slogan.

Maybe we can start on 9am July 1.

We are taking the Canadian side going to the E. Coast and using the US side coming back.

I think I'll be leaving on July 1st as well so I might tag along for the ride out if that's cool with you guys. Not sure which day I'll be heading back though.

You're welcome to join and split anytime.

Hi guys,

I had the chance to pack everything this weekend. Everything is working out. The items I packed all fit nicely in my sadde bags. There is even a bit of space left.

So, the time is set for 9am sharp. Please be gassed up and ready to go. Aim for 8:50am if you are a person who tend to be late.

I am not sure on the amount of ppl showing up for this trip, but there are 2 who are 100% and another who I think it tagging along for a short while.

I also updated the 1st post.

See you at Kennedy commons

Do you have an itinerary you can send me? or something that shows what kind of distance you plan on covering on which days. I'm good with leaving on Friday morning, but I have to be back on the 8th.

As far as I understand, we have expected 700-800km per day, but it might depend. So we might come back to Toronto on 8th... or *on 10th...

As mentioned by Slogan.

I have a rough Itenary, but nothing rigid. I don't have it with me now.

1st stop= Trois Rivieres
2nd = Fredericton
3rd = PEI
4th = Cabot Trail
5th = New Glasgow
6th = Moncton
7th = Bangor, USA
8th = Burlington, USA
9th = Journey Home
10th = Spare day if I fall behind schedule.

Each stop outlined there is the end of a day.

For those who have to be back home, u can leave without me. I don't mind continuing the final leg of the trip solo.

Please see the map on 1st post to see outline.

Cheers

Ps. I'm so stoked!! One more day! I am a bit nervous and excited at the same time :headbang:

Glad to hear you both got home safe. Thanks for staying with us for a couple of days! Cheers! Patrick & Angela

Hey guys, thanks for the great hospitality once again. It was nice of Patrick to drive us out to grab pizza on the first day.

It was funny because in the town of St. Stephen, we also stayed with another couple who were also bikers. Kind of interesting.

Cheers
JC
