Great ride today. Good to see all guys today. I almost bailed cuz of the weather but I'm so glad i stuck around for the ride. Sammy thank you for setting it up and leading. Also to sv1000 and ignited for sweeping.

DDR#3 for 2012 down in the books!

Hey Fellas. Thanks for coming out and taking a chance with the weather yesterday. Other than the morning drizzle, I guess you can say we beat the rain and had fun like always. Don't know where the other dozen riders were, as we should have been a group of at least 20 or so!!. It was nice seeing the regulars and meeting new people too!

I really would like to thank all of you that assisted me yesterday to get me back up and running. It truly meant alot to me knowing I had good people around for help. Thank you!

Our lunch stop was fantastic with our $12 Muskoka burgers overlooking Lake Rosseau (i think...LOL!!!) and deafening that 80+ year old man that wanted us to start our bikes for him. That was epic!

Bryce, I dont know where you went before we got to Green Lane? Sorry man, didnt try to lose you, turned my head after we made that left turn and didnt see you. Did you go another way?? Sorry man, didnt try to lose you, I wanted to ride home with you. thanks for being our weather man & sweep!

Jacky, those candies were delish!!! thanks buddy! made me feel better. Hope your return to Waterloo was ok. You must be exhausted.

Adam, thanks for looping us back thru Barrie beating that nasty hwy.11 & 400 traffic.

Anthony, what was up with that silver Grand Prix on the 404?? I'm glad he led the way..LOL!!! Cut down alot of travel time I tell ya.

thanks to the Barrie riders that met us at "gasoline alley" for the ride. Piskapo (Joe) Love that Panigale, let us know next time your out with your fellas to ride your loop up there. Sounds like fun!

To everyone else that DIDN'T show...... you missed out! Don't let a few clouds in the forecast scare you next time!

This wraps up DUCATI DAY RIDE #3 2012. I will do my best to get DDR#4 posted for possibly the end of August. ( you guys prefer Sat or Sun )? Hope to get my replacement parts fast, otherwise we are looking at the beginning of September. Fingers crossed.

Don't tease me like that! I may just have to take you up on that offer, but then I'll probably want to buy your 1098 from you after riding it all day and then never saddle up back on my Monster. I really appreciate that offer man. Only problem is that I cant ride hard because I wouldnt want anything to happen. Keep you posted.

Sammers, I emailed you some pics. I am glad those candies did the trick, haha. And yeah, I was pretty exhausted when I got home. Didn't get back until 8 but it was all worth it.

I thought Bryce went his own way when we were heading down Yonge but then shortly after you and Anthony left for the 404 I saw Bryce ride by on Green Lane while I was fueling up.

Thanks again to the leads and sweepers. Damn good job by everyone and much appreciated.
 
I'd like to get a group email list established for you guys so we can do local or short rides on any given weekend/weeknight versus waiting for bigger events like a DUCATI DAY RIDE which I will continue to plan. We did get one started on DDR#3, but I didnt get my hands on it. To all thats interested email me at samminaudo@gmail.com with your email addy and GTAM screen name. Once I've established a decent list, I will forward it back to you. Then you guys can email me or eachother for local hook ups, as most are not that active on this site.

I'll be working on the collection of pics you've been sending me and try to get them up this evening for viewing.
