DUCATI DAY RIDE #3 (Sun. Aug 12th, 2012)

I sent you a PM. Rain is a normal thing for our Ducati rides. Its just not the same without an hour sprinkle, to dirty our bikes and soak our gear. Most of us are used to it by now....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!
 
looks like i will have to pull out of this ride. was having battery problems with my bike again today... looks like my rectifier is shot and will need to be replaced.

have a safe ride tomorrow.

riders list updated. Weather looks iffy at this moment (8:25pm) Meeting place in Markham shows sunny with only 30% chance of showers till 1pm. Bala, Muskoka, Huntsville shows 60% chance showers.

This "MIGHT" be a wash out. I'll post another update in a couple of hours.

Whats the majority say? When we wake up in the morning and its sunny or at least dry we go? or do we base this on the weather forecast in the northern region?

Run the ride and take what you get. You have a great turnout, 40% chance of sunshine and some wicked roads to kill. If the rain hits, then hit a local pub, share some stories, have fun and wait it out:)

You make a good point! Like I said in one of my posts, a Ducati Day Ride just isnt normal if there isnt a little rain.

I'm out. Have fun if you decide to ride.
 
If its dry in the morning lets ride.
ride until we hit rain and adjust the route as needed.
Half a day riding is better than sitting at home!

IF ITS DRY IN THE MORNING, SHOW UP. IF ITS RAINING OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR, THEN ITS CANCELLED!

We could always do a few hours locally and change our route. Fingers crossed for decent weather.

ONLY A 40% (LESS THAN 1MM) CHANCE OF RAIN UP NORTH FOR THE MORNING, THEN SUNSHINE!!! CLEAR & DRY START AT OUR MEETING AREA.

Sorry Sammy - I won't be able to make it...family member in the hospital. Have a great ride......the weather looks agreeable today!
 
Sorry guys, I'm out - battery's not holding a charge and already have my replacement on order so I definitely hope to catch the next ride. I hope we do it sooner then later (over a month away?). I was soooo looking forward to southwood.
