Unless you have studied the issues and seen people with their live in ruins you might have a problem understanding.

Now that that's be dealt with, I think Lucy should finally be raked across the coals for her constant verbal bullying and physical abuse of Charlie Brown. I'm surprised he hasn't committed suicide because of it.

I was watching some film noir last night (1940's) and the black characters were all depicted as underlings. They were cooks, chauffeurs, porters, said "Yazzir" a lot, were superstitious and walked funny. In short, made to look simple.

The Chinese guy either ran a laundry or Chinese restaurant.

Should those films be banned or destroyed?

I don't believe in destroying history but part of history is also looking back and recognizing that what was done was wrong.

Then there are the countless "Indian" westerns where the tribes are portrayed as murderous savages when all they were doing was fighting off the people that were trying to steal their lands.

Were the conditions for the natives that much different than what was seen as so evil in WWII less than a century later?
