Uh ok but Hillary lies under oath, deletes classified government information, gets ambassadors and cia operatives killed and then lies about the cause.. yeah man, definitely want HER to lead the US

Ambassador Stevens gets killed in a planned terrorist attack and Clinton lets the nation believe it was a random event due to a YouTube movie which angered Muslims and made them riot.

Oh wait, the gov knew there was a threat and refused to bolster security and provide assets to keep their officials safe? Yeah that's bad.... But did you guys know Trump eats chicken with a fork?

The thread is (okay, was) ostensibly about Trump and his state of mind. In posts where mmmnaked hasn't defended Trump's utterances he's almost invariably deflected to "But but but Hillary...emails! NATIONAL SECURITY! emails!!!!!! won't somebody think of the emails!!!!!"

I can see how people would conclude that he's a Trump supporter/apologist/fanboy.
 
Not just emails, but dead ambassadors and CIA operatives. But yeah Trump is the sociopath lol

No. But I don't believe they deserve the same level of negative attention as the deplorable stuff Clinton has done.

I also recognize that modern politics is all about pandering to X demographic, so Trump is merely a reflection of a prevailing American attitude on various issues (Muslims, immigration, Mexicans, foreign policy, the establishment, etc)
 
USA has needed a major political shake up for a very long time. Their political system is broken. The people are fed up. A steady sober hand on the tiller like Ron Paul will always be shouted down. Trump is doing it the only way it can be done. Here's to hoping there's merit behind the shtick.

+1... However, Americans are very, very reluctant to make any changes to their constitution. Their Electoral College system is one thing which is way past its prime. Our system has its flaws as well but at least we are having intelligent conversations about some of our issues (first past the post, unelected Senate etc).
 
I think Hillary is also getting bad press too. They both have the lowest approval ratings for prospective candidates for years. It's just that Trump is a caricature and as such he's easier to get on the news. If Hillary had a dead orange animal on her head she'd get more negative media attention probably. It seems to me that Trump is just playing the anti card. He's doing everything he shouldn't do as a politician as he wants to be the anti politician. That's his shtick.

Plenty of shtickless The Donald videos on YouTube going back decades. Have a look around. He been saying the same things, albeit in normal interview styles, for a long time. In one of the latest interviews with George Steppenwolf(sp?) he gets talked over and cut off because the interviewer is obviously biased but DT takes it like a champ. One can only imagine the amount of stuff Trump must juggle in his brain at any given moment. I'm surprised he's not exploded yet.

USA isn't messed up because of their Constitution. USA is messed up because influence peddled foreign, domestic, economic and social policies for starters.

Agreed... However, they are reluctant to change or modify any of the amendments of their constitution even if they are dysfunctional now (e.g. second amendment and any semblance of gun control).
 
They like guns. Get over it. The amendments should be respected.

If the gang and inner city youth violence issues could be addressed, the homicide and violent crime rates would free fall. Criminals shooting each other disproportionately drives up the national avg. Unfortunately it's a lot more difficult to attempt to fix economic and cultural issues, and the idea doesnt buy Democrat votes like simple-minded attacks on the 2nd amendment.

Ok I'm ready for the next derail, lets go

If you're talking about the Carter Doctrine, that was explicitly to defend against foreign incursions into the Middle East. Iraq invading Kuwait didn't fall under that mandate.

It's weird also that you find what the two Bushes did in the region (initiate wars based on lies, leaving increasingly large messes behind) equivalent to what Clinton and Obama did (failing to clean up the resulting quagmire - well sorry he did get Bin Laden).

Is that how you raised your mom, to take the blame for your crap?
