It tells a lot.
Rex Tillerson, John Bolton, Anthony Scarramucci, various generals, the entire audience at a UN summit etc.
These are people and occasions where tact and diplomacy reign and where public statements are usually carefully crafted.
There’s simply not the same type of responses regarding either Biden or Harris from the same range of public figures. Can you think of any? I can think of people discussing Biden’s age and his stuttering but not his intellect.
When enough people from such wide backgrounds state that someone is stupid there’s two reasons usually:
1. They are stupid
2. They are stupid
Recently Trump said about RFK’s suggestion to get rid of fluoride in water “sounds great”. That’s a scientifically proven method used by millions around the world to reduce the incidence of cavities and to improve dental health. The CDC promotes it. That’s pretty dumb.
And so what if it's true.
He's already been President. All the doom and gloom predictions from his first run amounted to what? Nothingburger. US did just fine during his first term.
Have you listened to her interviews? I don't need General Nelson and former public staffers telling me what's obvious. But if you want to peddle her intelligence to me I got a bridge to sell you.

Not strange to me. Trump entered politics with no experience as a legislator. Business leadership is more of a strongman's game - the guy at the top decides yes and no, and can do whatever the hell he likes as long as it's not illegal.
Civil service is not like that. Politicians, generals, business leaders, and academics get all messed up when they are forced to deal with authority.
Making friends isn't a high priority when you can afford to buy them. Making enemies is not an issues when there is no consequence.
Call him stupid if you like. I scratch my head trying to figure out how that dumbass can maintain a 767, 18 world class golf courses, a few major office towers, a winery... and a bunch of other stuff with his name on it.

She sounds fine to me. An accomplished lawyer would though. No hamburdlers or cofefe for example. That nothing burger also appears to have been the most incarcerated administration the US has had. It’s also been the most untruthful in terms of the sheer number of documented lies. No tax statements released, nepotism run rampant, the democratic process trampled. We could go on.
Sometimes I wonder if certain Americans just like the warmth of a dumpster fire.

I honestly think that if Harris wins, she may get 2 years before being getting hobbled by the House. It's happened to every Dem since Clinton.
If Trump wins, I'm gonna binge watch CNN for a week. All last time Trump won, I remember watching the wackiest of their left wing politicos (Van Jones, Bakari Sellers, Sarah Cupp, Maria Cardona, Ana Navaro) losing their **** on live TV. They were crying, screaming, threatening to flee to Cuba and Canada... that was engaging news!

Technically it's 'may' be prohibited from entering Canada.
I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that it was probably not a question and actually a speech, which would be disconcerting since she could prepare it in advance.
Sure, it's "may", if you're an "elite", but if any of us on the board had a criminal record like that, how's that going to go?

Friend actually ran into this a few years ago. Had an arrest record (charges dropped) but he got flagged at the border while travelling with friends to the Dragon. They had to drop him on our side until he could get a lawyer to send him documents, go back to the border the next day to show proof of x,y,z before they let him cross.

This about sums it up.
My buddy had a similar issue. Punched an undercover cop during a scuffle in high park many years ago. Cop says he identified himself as an officer...friend says he didn't.
Was hassled at the Ontario crossing points, but since he was going west he popped up to Manitoba and crossed at one of those border partol sites instead with no issue.
A lot of the people from the former Trump administration who are now saying that he's unfit for office, were the same ones who were in place during that administration to stop Trump doing stupid things.
They won't be there the next time around. See "Project 2025"
