Dogs and other critters

Great pics everyone.

Here are Milo and Hurricane. Both rescues. Milo, the Sheppard/Huskie/Basset Hound cross, was given up because he was born with only 1 eye. Hurricane, the Huskie cross, was abandoned by his family at a kennel.

We lost our Pug Lucy at the end of January... I sure missed having her greet me at the door and constantly be with us all the time.

So... We adopted an 8 year old Pug named Buddy who is settling in nicely. :)

Like all Pugs he has a "clownish" side. One of the funny things he does is that he will often do a front paw stand when he is peeing. This pic does not do it justice. Sometimes he is almost vertical and will take a step or two before he goes back to being on all four paws. The Pug rescue has had a lot of Pugs go through their system and they had never seen a Pug do this.

He is very sweet and we love him very much.

Thought I would bump this thread with a new addition to the home.

Here is Cooper.

I'm pretty sure there is some Canadian law that says brits must own corgi's or poodles.
I will take Cooper off your hands, i don't think he likes you anyways. :D

Cooper is VERY CUTE...BUT...You must be very carefull when they are at that age...skin that is so sensitive is guaranteed a nasty rash...HE SHOULD NOT BE NEAR A "JETS" LOGO!!! ;)

My boys Tito(fawn) and Diego(brindle). Tito is 8.5 years, calm submissive and the perfect gentleman whereas Diego is 2 years and a real goon. After having him I've really realized what they mean when they say 'for experienced owners'.

@ agave the French Canadian GF trumps this fella's claim of ownership. Lol.

@ sadz. That's how cheap this Pittsburgh fan is. It was laundry day and that shirt just came out of a case of beer. Lol. Good enough for puppy fur.

Our lovely and gentle labradoodle Harley, who turns twelve tomorrow, was recently diagnosed with cancer in one of her toes. There was only one option: off with it!

Recovery was quick, no complications, and never any complaints. Back to her regular walks, as happy as ever. Dogs are so amazingly resilient.

Now she permanently gives us a Live Long and Prosper!

What mix is that lil bully? She's so cute...
Olde English bulldogge which technically is mixed with English Bulldog, mastiff, pit bull and American bulldog.

She was the runt perfect size for me. Amazing temperament and very obedient

There's something to be said for cats vs dogs:

Dogs have a hard time chasing mice.
Cats torture them and occasionally send one home to tell their friends.

Also, you can clean the litter box, stuff lots of food in the bowl and go out for the entire day, without coming home to them hopping up and down with their legs crossed.

That being said, we may get tied down to a dog.

We have a Lab and my wife has two cats.
The dog will be always happy to greet you, tries hard to make you love them, they love you almost unconditionally. They like car rides and going boating and swimming. They can help you meet girls.
They will eat your leftovers so you don't have to, they keep squirrels off the deck. Robbers don't like houses with big dogs.

then there is the cats...................
