My accountant told me that out of town meals are deductable if I expected to be away 12 hours or more. Also some contractors charge mileage. I charge extra for out of town because my expenses are higher out of town.

o boy .. **** the bike, i dont want it anymore

you were told how to do it cheaper.... you expect to get some stranger's day for free?

Lesson : make good friends with those that have trucks or trailers ;)

all the quotes around $350 were reasonable if even low

my f-150 is $80 in gas to go to london and back from scarborough. chatham is twice as far so $160 in gas alone. 5 hours driving each way, 1 hour to load and offload. so 11 hours of labour plus abuse to your truck and the risk of damaging his bike - id be charging more then $350

Granted the price is reasonable but when I hire someone to do a job for me I would not expect to pay for lunch. When my family hired movers we did pay for lunch but they didn't expect that we buy it for them. I just hate when people expect stuff that shouldn't be expected.

Ok how's this? If you aren't willing to buy me food n coffee it'll be $300.

If you are willing to buy me food n coffee it'll be $285.

Dude, just ride the damn bike and save $4xx. No need to make this complicated

LOL...you don't wanna go get this guy's bike anyways...he'd wait till you're halfway there then call you and tell you he changed his mind cuz he found a better deal on a different bike somewhere else,LOL
