Yeah it’s not a Harley lol$900 first service BMW?
Do they think we're stupid?
You are the worst kind of customer. Put your ego aside and work it out with them instead of acting like a baby on the internet.Thank you. My mission is to destroy their service business image for now. That 100 is gone.
At least i got a contact from their sales (not service) to remove my 22 negative feedbacks (so far), in exchange for nothing though.
Then go and talk to the owner in person. They don't reply
On my 2013 cb500x, they had valve check at first service, eventually a few model years down the line they removed that, but it was not a cheap first service, and it was a honda (and it was known on the forums for it, etc)$900 first service BMW?

First service on the RE requires valve clearance inspection and adjustment. If you take it to a dealer you can expect a $500 bill at the end. I did it myself and YES it does take a lot of time.On my 2013 cb500x, they had valve check at first service, eventually a few model years down the line they removed that, but it was not a cheap first service, and it was a honda (and it was known on the forums for it, etc)
Now for the other brands, maybe some models might have valve checks on first service but it should be a rare occurence, me thinks
If he wants compensation it is his responsibility to get a clear and direct answer from the dealer principal. Just don't be a Karen about it.To be fair, it's not koorosh's responsibility to settle this. Any company in this day and age that can't be bothered to return messages or emails is not a company worth dealing with.
Always appreciate your sense of humorSturgess has the oldest/ longest running phone number in Hamilton, possibly Canada.
They must be doing something right.
Koorosh.......just take the hundo off all the $$1000's I saved you on the busa!
Answer was clear. No compensationIf he wants compensation it is his responsibility to get a clear and direct answer from the dealer principal. Just don't be a Karen about it.
Most internet reviews I read are to be taken with a grain of salt - same with complaints.
Then you're done - move along. You won't get anything more out of this than a rise in your blood pressure.Answer was clear. No compensation
wait a minute, your real name is Koorosh?
But not the 1000 km first service (which is what they claimed). On a modern Ducati, that's just oil, filter and visual inspection. The 15,000 km second service is still only an oil change plus plugs and air filter. The big one with valves and belts is at the third service around 30,000 km's.Service on a Duc will include valve check. So, ya,$900.Bmw requires specialty tooling and diagnostic equip.
We are not getting both sides of this story.
