December show

Saw friends I haven't seen since summer, had fun, totally worth $16 for that (though my promised free ticket didn't show up which would have been better. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!)
Yeah you know!!!! Shame on you....... LoL!
Good to see you too, BTW....... if only you were on FB, you would seen that someone had a pair of free tickets for today! :D

Just me, or a little sparse (attendance)? I was there all Saturday evening and it felt quite roomy and comfy! Can't complain though. Didn't miss Kawi at all. Heard a few vendors gripe a little about very low sales at this show and eagerly awaiting the January one, but personally I like the manufacturer "auto-show" classy vibe.

I enjoyed sitting on the F3 this year, and propping my newborn on every exotic and mini bike I could find.

To each their own but i think honda hit the mark with the 600rr.

And to all the people who complain about the show wtf do you expect? A bunch of circus acts?

You got plenty of bikes, plenty of hot women, food, beer and drinks and even some trial bike show. Got some vendors, seriously what more do you want?

The next show is more for gear, this one was more for the manufactures. This isn't a surprise yet everyone knows this yet keeps on whining.

I just don't see any reason to upgrade to the new 600rr because it's so similar to the previous gen. Sitting on it felt very familiar, right down to the identical gauge cluster.

As for the show overall, people are entitled to their opinions about it so I don't know why you're getting worked up about that. Personally, it was my first manufacturer bike show so I was curious to check it out. I expected it to be like the auto show and it was except smaller scale and not as much flare. Nothing there I couldn't see at a dealership for free. I'm glad I went but I don't plan on going back unless I hear about something exciting.

636 is at the Inside Motorcycles booth...

Damn, missed that.

I went with my gf from 8:30-10:00pm. I don't think we'll be going back to the show next year.

Even though I picked up some oil and chain cleaner for a good price, if it wasn't our first time it would not have been worth the parking ($16.00) and entrance ($8.00 x 2), totalling $32.00.

+1. ^ This is it ^

You go to this show, but not every year. It is really only once in a while.

Years ago I had a chance to go to a motorcycle show in Europe, if I remember correctly the ticket was 4 euros full price (like 6 dollars, way cheaper than the $16 they charge here). They had everything the Toronto show has, TIMES TWO, for almost one third of the entrance fee.

It's cheap entertainment. Gives me something to do in the off-season. No complaints here.

I got my tickets for free. Have friends that work at Honda!.

Went Saturday mid day. Thought the overall show was good. I hadnt been in a couple of years and enjoyed it. Not sure if i would pay $16 to go to it every year, but it was nice to get back there again.

I agree, that the new CBR600RR feels very familar. I too was shocked to see the same gauge cluster. I was most impressed with the Honda and Ducati booths. (after all Ducat had booth girls!)

Ducati seemed to be pretty pushy when it came to them having used bikes on hand that they were tryign to move. One of the guys was chatting about a Monster with me, then told me about used ones, and offered several times to walk me over to look at them... As soon as I told him i wasnt interested he walked way and did the same speech to the next person.

As always I skipped drinks or the over priced food and opted to simply stop at Burger King on the way home.

hoping i can snag some free tickets to the January show as well.

Great pics to those who have posted from the show. I left my camera at home but will bring it next time for sure!

My first thought was if I had of brought my niece she would have thought that her toys had come to life.

I had to giggle though....when we got there there were HUNDREDS of them in the main lobby waiting to get into the show....it's was like a singles mingle for Animè lovers

Adults dressed as Japanese cartoons

wow

that's a new level of crazy

When I was there, there was a guy dressed up as Dr. Spock... Didn't have a camera...sure would have been nice to get a photo of spock on a R1...

Wow, all of them girls are amazingly gorgeous... but #3.... WOW...

Anyone happen to get pics of one of the models at the suzuki booth? Blonde and black hair from the last time I saw her... An ex of mine. Was trying to get me to come down to the show, but it sure isn't worth the drive.

I'll be there in January in support of some MX people.

also i'm not posting disastrous, but if you want a look, google man-faye :lmao:
