December show

Going this morning.I'll spend a bunch of time picking some brains to help choose my next bike. Can't decide between Gasgas and Ossa.Maybe i can get a chance to fool around with a couple at the exhibit that is set up for Jordan Szokes demo.:p

Anyone who has gone to this show in the past or knows the history of this event will not be surprised at the weak showing and sparse attendance. However it is the first show of the season and a chance to see and be seen.
The wife and I are going tomorrow. We have not been in several years. I’m interested in what the MV display is like. I see lots of photos and talk about the Ducati display and Honda but not a peep about MV.

I struggled to kick the arse out of the show for 2 hours. If it wasn't for needing to see someone face to face I would have given it a swerve. Highlight of the show was bumping into a few friends I hadn't seen for months. The bike related stuff was a very poor effort. All in all I'd give it a 3 out of 10.

Friday is the night to go if you hate crowds. I took my son and had a great time. He was finally big enough to ride the Yamaha dirt bikes. He made the old man proud.

Went Friday was rather nice to sit on bikes easily with no crowds. Found a few different bikes I like. I really liked the nc700 seemed like a good upgrade from my 250. The wife thinks I should get the 696 monster instead.

Was hoping for more vendors selling but I guess I need to hit the jan show for that.

I bloody knew that I should have brought my 45mm F1.8 along to the show. When did you pick up a E-M5 Jamie? Or are those shots yours?

Nice that they have an Oro on display but I was hoping that they would have a B3, Brutale 675.

Went this morning at 10am and it was good to see as it wasn't busy and I got to sit on all the bikes I wanted to check out (except now Kawi presence). But in terms of gear there really wasn't anything special. GP has their 20% off deal but the coupons are valid online and in their stores so you can redeem it outside the show as well.
Didnt buy anything :(

I went with my gf from 8:30-10:00pm. I don't think we'll be going back to the show next year.

Even though I picked up some oil and chain cleaner for a good price, if it wasn't our first time it would not have been worth the parking ($16.00) and entrance ($8.00 x 2), totalling $32.00.

I skipped having a SOAR booth this year I just couldnt bring myself to have two shows in a month. Not everyone that goes in Jan goes in Dec but pretty much everyone that goes in Dec goes in Jan. Its double the costs and no increase in sales so I (SOAR) stayed home. I may pop down tomorrow just to catch up with everyone. We will see. :)

Just came back from the show and thought it was pretty meh. I really wanted to check out the new 636 but Kawi was absent. I'm glad I got to check out a few other bikes though. The new 600RR still doesn't wow me but is less ugly in person. Sat on the CBR500R and NC700 which I thought was an interesting bike (I'd love to have that tank storage space!). Also sat on the FZ8, Diavel and S1000RR for the first time. Didn't see any great deals on gear so I just walked out with a freebie BMW poster.

To each their own but i think honda hit the mark with the 600rr.

And to all the people who complain about the show wtf do you expect? A bunch of circus acts?

You got plenty of bikes, plenty of hot women, food, beer and drinks and even some trial bike show. Got some vendors, seriously what more do you want?

The next show is more for gear, this one was more for the manufactures. This isn't a surprise yet everyone knows this yet keeps on whining.

This thread isn't the same without a post from Juancho and all his candid hot lady pics from the show.

It works a lot better when you actually approach the girls and ask them for a picture. Instead of looking like a perv with ****** shots you actually get ones where the girl is smiling and you can even fit a bike into the picture :D
