I put down a deposit on a Kia Niro PHEV yesterday. Estimated delivery date is mid-August.
A dealer in Guelph was the only place to have one in stock so I contacted them to buy it.
“Ya, we’ve got it here on the lot but we can’t sell it to you.”
“Why not? You sell a product and I want to buy that product.”
“But it’s our demo car.”
“I don’t care, I’ll still pay you MSRP for it.”
“No, you can’t buy it.”
Ordered it from Waterloo Kia.
Now it’s a race. Will I get the the wife’s new Civic or the Niro first?
