Daily sports car?

Yeah i like it, you`re welcome to borrow it sometime if its something you'd be interested in.

Im slowly working my way through what I have at home for now...
I will shamelessly admit that whenever I stop by Pro Detailing supplies in Mississauga I dont leave until I've spent atleast $250 lol.

Maybe its time for me to switch over to some premium AmmoNYC or Adams Polishes once I'm done with this stuff.

I hand washed both vehicles today. I use Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic spray and it lasts months. Longest I’ve gone between coatings is 8 months and water was still beading perfectly like say 1 after that time. Really nice gloss to it and dirt comes off easily. I’ve used pricier ones and honestly for the ease of use and protection this stuff is fantastic. Both vehicle fronts are also PPF covered with XPEL film.

Out of curiosity, does the ceramic coating protect it from the harsher soaps used in touchless washes? My brother used to get a subscription to Shell every winter for a daily wash.

I'd say whatever brand you decide to go with, stick with the same brand soaps and what not as chances are they would be 'compatible' with each other.
CarPro, Modesta, Revivify, Gyeon etc...list goes on. See what fits your budget and go from there.

This year's driveway. Getting the KTM out shortly as the roads are less sandy here now, new heated comfort seat on it this year.

White is the most under appreciated colour. White cars are more visible (safer) and stay cooler in the summer.
More visible depends on the weather. In a snow storm, white isn't doing you any favors. I have white now and I like it. I had black before which looks really good for two seconds after you spend a bunch of time on it. I wish more vehicles came in good colours. Even for those that do come in good colours, I'm too cheap to pay thousands for the colour upgrade.

I warned my wife when we leased a Taos last time that was black, that it would never look clean. She hadn't owned a black vehicle before.

As you can see, the new GTI Performance is white. Once you own a black vehicle, you realise you're a slave to it if you want it to look nice.

You wouldn't believe how dirty the 911 is in that picture. There's no point in cleaning it until some of the sand is gone, so...

I remember reading that the better visibility of white was the reason for the police changing away from yellow. Now they've gone back to stealth.
Most of the new barrie police cars are battenburg. I appreciate the visibility. I think the particular implementation they picked is ugly. Imo, a smaller pattern looks better. They also went for gross green instead of hi-vis yellow in their pattern. Their trunks are pretty much just white or blue which you would think should be an important face to have highly visible.

EDIT:
Just for @mimico_polak , they have at least one Estang.

My dad used to buy all his cars in silver or grey. BORING! When my brothers and I started driving, we all got black. It didn't take long for us to realize how much of a pain it was to keep them clean, and dirty black cars just look sad. Silver may be boring, but it stays looking clean a lot longer.

I agree. I got so bored of silver. I really dislike most of the beige/taupe options. White gets dirty faster than silver but much slower than black.

I think they did a great job. It's not a fashion statement, it's to grab attention for people who need help or to deter would-be criminals. Nothing does that better than to stand out by being as "abnormal" as possible.

... and I now know what "battenburg" means.
