I did the rear peg led's about 5 years ago on my 929RR just for more viability at night I usual will hand signal during the day.http://tinypic.com/player.php?v=6gl8ag&s=5#.Uk3_yRD3NL4
That looks really good and very noticeable, but I am not so sure if they can be seen during day time, are the front signal inside the housing also LED or just regular bulb? I am thinking to do something simliar at the front and rear, add and addtional LED turn signal to give it a bit more visibility.

I have this done on my 600rr from the "company in the states" worth every penny. Amber leds for turn signals and red leds for brake. Great for visibility. I have had some. Leds burn out, I sent them in and they were replaced and shipped back free of charge. I loved that there were a lot of options for customization.

30 leds total per peg. They are drilled so it has a very clean finish. Here you can see the 10 drilled in the side for use as a side marker.

Do you mind me asking what the cost was to the door? I like this idea. Not as a replacement obviously, but as a supplement.
