COVID and the housing market

Well, no ones perfect.

Make friends with a really good butcher, be prepared to take the serious learning curve to learn to make the perfect steak ( about 30 mins time investment) and never pay the stupid price of Hys , Harbor 21, Mortons or any of the other beef bandits.
an 1 1/2 thick 18oz prime rib eye is about $25 wholesale and $100 if Hy heats that up for you.

you'll have more money on mortgage anniversary pay down day if you do some simple home stuff

Hy's has a lifetime ban from me.... Went to the one in Vancouver many many moons ago, like 200+ moons. The waiter asked if I wanted the Hy's Special Sauce on my steak, I figured how could I go wrong, said yes and I didn't ask any questions...

I got an expensive steak with basically BBQ sauce on it, WTF!

Not everyone is winning in this market. This person bought more than they could afford and probably lost close to 450K in three months.

EDIT:
Also, wtf is up with the backyard? Do they think they are in da bridge? City needs to start cracking down on some of this crap or they will have serious water issues.

Too expensive imo

I need around 2500 calories a day. We're somehow making by with $400/m on groceries and commodities. If I start eating steak, no matter how cheap, that price is gonna go up. Add that monthly, then yearly, and project it against mortgage or stock gains and.....

.........gah, it hurts lolol

You know how I was saying track two often goes too far?

Things have changed since you last rode on the street

there's a wide spectrum, want cutting edge performance but comfy ergos and good street performace? get a supernaked.

Want all that and wind protection with luggage options? get an adventure/sport/touring bike

I'll get a supernaked for street for sure. I just hope motorcycles are still around by that time :'(

I work at Hys Toronto.
Spoke to the corporate executive chef, he tells me the margins on beef are about 7%

Dude spends more on video games, racing steering wheels and seats than the rest of us spend on motorcycles.

He's definitely not going too far down that track...

Riding is far more expensive than any hobby I've had combined lol

What if I'm more of a Ruth's Chris guy?

It isnt just 'da bridge'. Five houses have sold recently on my street. Every one of them have turned the entire back yard into a concrete pad.

Brampton..............

I'm not sure I can believe him, I manage a little Yacht club, we would do considerably less volume purchases and on a steak dinner take the cost and its x 1.70 , most places would go broke under 35-40% for any time i spent on the kitchen management end.
Thats impressive they can do that
