dtf? That is it? Geesh, I have had 19-21 yr olds hitting on me ( I am mid 30's) like mad lately and it is because they think I am dtf? Even with wedding rings on? What is with men these days?
The interest comes from speaking with a group of women from ages 25 to 55 not knowing what the prerequisites are....just looking for the male perspective

No your thinking wolves. Cougars are solitary creatures that stalk there prey then carry it off to have there way with it. They definatly do not like to share the spoils of a hard night hunt.
 
Let me summarize the three stages many women go through:

Ages 18-25:
-In her prime physically, looks good
-they will play immature games and basically toy with guys for their own entertainment.......because they CAN, they have guys lined up to date/bang them
-They are looking for their prince charming though and will sleep/date with the guy that can romance them (ie; talk the most bs) but this guy better be at the top of his game at all times or he's getting booted for the next guy in about 2.3 seconds
-Dating one of these women is a LOT of BS

Ages 25-35:
-This woman is realizing that she's only going to get worse with age now
-Desperate to settle down and have babies cause after 30 the risks durring pregnancy are greater
-This chick will date you for 6 months and than ***** that you haven't proposed yet cause time is ticking!
-Dating one of these women is a LOT of BS

Ages 35+:
-Been there done that
-Probably been already married, divorced, has a couple of kids, gone through her attention whoring stage in her 20's
-This chick knows what's up, is decent at sex, cause she's had a lot, knows you want to bang her and is fine with this, she wants to have some fun too
-Dating one of these women is generally BS free

On another note...
When I told my galpals I bought a bike and they fought over who got the first ride...I said I only give rides to topless girls, the girl with the "G's" won...all are mid 20's and second place went to the girl who agreed to assless chaps...haha!!!!

as a rough guide i think pumas are 3-12 years older then the guy.
cougars are 13-20- years older

You missed the four year window between 31-35 where they're actually fun and "normal". This is also roughly when they start to figure out that the type of guys they have been dating are generally useless and start paying attention to the guys they should have been dating all along.

I think this is sometimes true and sometimes not. Sometimes the pressure / biological clock / insecurity just gets worse after 30, and sometimes they just relax. Have seen instances of both among friends.

What I found with dating is that it got so much easier after turning 25 and dating 25+ women, just as Roasted said (but this guy better be at the top of his game at all times or he's getting booted for the next guy in about 2.3 seconds). Also, they realize that the man pool is drying up because a lot of the nicest/most successful guys are dating girls that don't put them through BS, and their girlfriends are all paired up so they're on their own now.

Darling you answered your own question, your in your mid thirties, your girl pals are mid twenties, you need them to ride topless or arseout to 2up.
Theres a cougar hiding in there someplace, now if you bought a cruiser and play for the other team, that changes things up a bit.
