Social distancing is breaking down quickly around me. People going over to friends for dinner (6' doesn't matter if you are in their house), kids having pool parties (about two to four houses worth in one pool), driveway drinking spacing is less every day. Some people went on vacation to BC with their kids (flying).
My wife is very annoyed with the lockdown. She is seeing everybody else have fun and socialize and not us. Hospitals are not overrun, mental health problems climbing quickly, etc. The root problem is you have a percentage of the population that will ignore whatever rules are in place. Between them and working/shopping, we have a reasonably steady supply of cases. Add in a few concerts (ahem, sorry, i mean protests) and the numbers will have a bump. That means the rules remain in place for those that were following them. There are enough selfish idiots that you need to keep the obedient ones on a very short leash to keep the numbers under control. Without the selfishness, we could probably have pulled back on the global rules a bit already but sadly selfishness is not something we are in short supply of in Canada.
