Contour hd test

If you haven't understood my point by now..........

Your side of the fence/my side of the fence.

Peace out.

There the thread topic and then there's your topic. You think I don't know about inattentive drivers? I am fully aware that there are a huge number of distracted drivers and that they account for a vast majority of collisions. Have a look at my signature bud, and maybe try cutting down on the distracted posting.

This thread isn't about those people, it's about a much more elemental aspect of road use which is "sharing the road". It's driving 101 and the guy in the video totally fails at it, as opposed to all the other scenarios you listed as if they were equivalent.

If you're willing to listen, I'll be happy to explain what it means to share the road.

Since when are moto cops permited to drive on the shoulder to pass traffic with no lights or siren? Oh that's rights they do what they want too.

I'm sure a cop would have no problem helping you out with this one, you could swap stories. He probably wont believe you so you should probably show him this video.

Wow. Just Wow.

'Ride it like you stole it' doesn't even apply here.

Hope he signed his organ donor card.

I was actually thinking about the contour HD. After watching this awesome review, I think I'm going to go with the hero2. Thanks OP.

I have a contour HD that I just picked up. Im having the worst time getting the wind noise down, and the mic is set to 1. Does anyone have a solution to this?

You need to ride it like to you stole in man. This will make sure the popo's siren noise will drown out the wind noise. Have you learnt nothing from the ninja10kid? :)

LOL, I wanted to say something about his crappy riding, but I wanted my camera to sound better more. Besides, warning this dude about speed is like warning a ho about std's, ya theyll listen today, but they be f***in' tomorrow!

Wow that was the dumbest thing I have seen on 2 wheels,
You Must be living the Gangsta dream.. do you even have a valid insurance card ?

The only solution for it takes a bit of work.

You need to take it apart and put foam around the microphone and put silcone on the inside coer where the power LED is to stop wind coming through there.

Im gonna try taking it apart in the AM, thanks :)

To Ninja10kid...

Clearly you have not used up many of your 9 lives yet.

I hope you ride more responsibly in the future as your remaining life depends on it, as do the lives of the other motorists and pedestrians that you have endangered.

Since the video was deleted... Here's a copy

Wow, crazy video!

And as to the recording quality, the Countour Roam2 sucks on 720p, it's like it scales the video without anti-aliasing (i.e. all the lines and edges are very jaggy). My Hero2 in 720p makes it look absolutely silly.

You can only use 170 degree field of view in 720p mode, and only 125 degrees in 1080p. Most newest generation cameras let you pick your FoV and resolution independently.
