chilly morning

Yeah I rode with my very well ventilated summer gloves that are probably not even safe they are so thin and vented (not even leather between the fingers, just some kind of fabric... they're closer to golf gloves lol) and my hands were frozen by the time I finished my 45 min commute. That wasn't even at highway speeds (haven't been brave enough to try the new bike on the highway yet).

Had to pull over on the highway and do up my jacket vents.
Wasn't expecting it to be as chilly as it was.
Grip warmers on low and I was good.

I wore my leather gauntlet gloves instead of the summer ones. It'll be a glorious ride home from work.

Was out riding until midnight last night and it was getting pretty cold. This morning I looked and it was +9C. Decided to pass.
How's everyones tire grip?

Put a new tire on yesterday and no problem with grip, although I didn't push it as it only has 40kms on it, but no spin on on-ramps or leaving lights

Yeah, thicker gloves are definitely in order. Also maybe some warmer pants.

Looks like this was just a cold snap though (when I got up it was 4C), the temperature lows for the next few days are 10+.

I rode... 407 was def chilly and like others... had my summer vented gloves on! Thats mcdicks coffee felt great when i got into work though!

Also on a new rear tire. Pirelli Rosa Corsa. Suprisingly it was pretty sticky last night.
I just had really bad experience at the start of the season with cold tire (Dunlop Spotmax Quilifier) that failed on me drasticly.

it was nice and refreshing but cold, i've rode in much colder weather, 0 degrees with the added wind-chill

only thing that sucks is my right side heated grip handle stopped working...

10C in the morning is usually my tipping point between bike or car. That, and how hung over I am.

Perfect riding weather for me. Down to 2 other bikes today at where I usually park downtown.

7 degrees this morning, good for about +10 hp :)

I just put on my base layers, hoodie under my leather jacket and it's all good. Backpack to store the stuff once it gets hotter.

Interesting that you should say this. With my 2 cylinder BMW I can really notice the supercharging effect of the colder denser air, but not so much on my honda cb750. I was thinking that just this morning.

I hate riding in cold. Not enjoyable for me at all.

Car + heated seats + coffee + dean Blundell (although his show sucks now that todd left)

CBR1k really notices the cool air

Bickles gloves :) cool in the hot summer days, warm and comfy this morning :)

I'm thinking a degree colder and I will put on the pants of my rain gear. I take the 407 from Airport to Woodbine everyday, it was def cold at speed this morning.
