chilly morning

rode to school this morning, froze my hands and legs since i just wore jeans and summer gloves. ride home should be awesome cause its pure sun and like 20 degrees.

I'm thinking a degree colder and I will put on the pants of my rain gear. I take the 407 from Airport to Woodbine everyday, it was def cold at speed this morning.

Yes went for a test ride this morning at 6am, gloves failed hands frozen, got coffee parked bike, got in car turned on heat drove to work! New gloves needed all other body parts good.

Put a new tire on yesterday and no problem with grip, although I didn't push it as it only has 40kms on it, but no spin on on-ramps or leaving lights

I had a a new tire put on yesterday as well and was out and about until about 10:30 or so. Grip seemed fine, but I wasn't pushing it either. Mind you, I had one hard fast stop where my rear end wanted to pass my front end. :/ Kept that B**** in line though.

Was enjoying the cooler ride last night... Good gloves- warm hands. :)

Summer jacket, summer gloves. I just turned the heated grips on a bit for the first few km's this morning. Courtice-Toronto @ 5am via 401 was not that cold...

Funny we say its cold, but come spring time anything above 0 is considered warm enough to take the bike out.

I wanted to ride in to work today. Unfortunately I needed the cage. :( I was trying to figure out a way around it so I could ride. Was so close to an option, but nope.

My gear is warm enough for now. I don't really hit more than 80-90km/hr on my commute. May need a snowsuit if it drops a few more degrees though. LOL

Heated gloves, Long Johns, balaclava.

I was very comfortable. Did not feel the cold at all.

I would've been too hot in that. I just needed gloves that weren't ventilated and I would've been fine. That's with my fully perforated white jacket that is nice and cool on a 30C day.

I left home this morning at about 5C, I wore gortex pants over jeans and gortex/leather mountaineering gloves, I also put my liner in my jacket. It was cool but no problem really.

Didn't mind the temps this morning as it woke me up on the ride in. I don't have to take hwy to work though and I'm used to riding in single digit temps. Ride home should be pleasant

Funny watching you put your gloves on. You're like jacket on, helmet on, bike on, right glove wiggle stretch pull curse squeeze, left glove strain pull yell curse.

Any one suggestions for a warmer jacket . I have a icon anthem mesh jacket I had the liner in this morning and it was still cold . im thinking I need something a littler warmer but not to heavy

Anything leather without perforation should be fine.

Me, I wear my normal summer perfed leather jacket with liner and I'm good into single digits. Any colder and I just put the outer she'll from an old (huge) ski jacket over top and I can ride into the negatives but my hands freeze.

Hey now! That was only in the hotter weather. My gloves are lined and it was a pain in the *** trying to get them back on when the lining pulled out a bit due to sweaty hands. :/

Last night they were perfect! :)
I really need gloves that breathe next year!
