Car Accident

following too closely would probably be a better charge, what it sounds like is buddy infront of you didn't even put his brakes on if you didn't see any.

Given the number of burnt out tail lights I see around, during my commute, he might not have had any brake lights. Makes me think that police don't bother writing equipment tickets anymore, because people sure don't seem to bother checking their lights.

Yea, majority of cops these days don't know what they're doing. "O I'll be right back, (goes and check his little book) blah, blah, blah. Ok. How about this.......Gimme a sec (i need to go to my cruiser, checks his book again) to answer your question now, blah, blah

So your telling me if you were a cop you would be able to memorize every law in the HTA and the Criminal code book, every section and sub-section and be able to tell someone which exact section their charge would fall under??
I don't think there is a cop or anyone for that matter that would be able to know every law and which section it fell into without their books.

Maybe if turbo was a cop - he'd be the only one.
That's part of their job. Its like hiring a "teacher" who knows nothing about the subject, can't talk about it and always say I'll get back to you on that such as some pathetic teachers I've had in the past . Sorry but in my profession 99% knowledge doesn't cut it, 100% knowledge is needed when peoples' well being is taken into consideration. "Oh wait, gimme a sec, let me check my book while you slowly die":angry7:

It's a good thing that your profession isn't driving then. You clearly fell short of 100% knowledge and peformance on this one on what should have been a simple matter.

Lol, good point. No offense taken. What am I going to do now, sit in a corner in my room and lock the door and die from starvation in a few days, weeks? Life goes on.

Naw, I declined that option.

Nevertheless, just won it today.

Case closed.

Yes details, who did you hire and how did they get the charges dropped. BTW congrats.

All the freakin time. Turn signals that don't work, brake lights, tail lights and headlights that don't work.

How many Chevy Ventures are out there with screwed up tail lights? There must be an issue with the wiring harness because I often see them behaving oddly. Driver hits the brakes and the turn signals light up. I'm amazed that (apparently) so few people know that when their turn signal is blinking really fast that means one of the bulbs is burnt out. On many cars that also means your brake lights don't work properly.
