I don't care what you say OP, I will still be wavin' at you... if you flip me the finger, I'll chase you up and start waving right besides you.

Its not cool... I've ridden in Vancouver and the GTA, everyone does it! Why must you all be so damn friendly?

Just ride your bike and concentrate on the road! :angry4:

I swear the next guy on a cruiser or sports bike who nodes or waves to me Im giving them the finger...

Lol.

LOL !! I think you should talk to those people who's driving and txting first. I think the cops will pull over those people drive n txt first rather than pulling a biker just wave to another biker! speaking of which driving n txt more likely end up in a tragedy. unless you only got 1 arm, riding and waving @ the same time is shouldn't be hard to control!!!
Even better, I will just look at them, see them wave and not wave back making them feel stupid. We were talking about lowering insurance rates on the other thread, this is an obvious pandemic and can lead to crashes. You people better correct your ways or it may end in tragedy.

And you tools calling the 125cc bike a sissy bike should realize it is much safer than the bigger bikes because there is no temptation to go 200km/hr+ because it can't. And it is probably faster off the line than most cruisers anyways and much better handling as well.

the wave is a signifier of a sense of community between riders(mostly spors bike anyways). i like the duct tape idea. put some on your helmet and well be sure to ignore you(at the very least). just like ive started ignoring cruisers. most of them think theyre some badass gangsters and dont wave or wave back. And then i see them get off their bikes to order a decaf with skimmed milk after using their inhaler lool (im not picking on all cruisers, some are super nice but most are some balloon headed ancient wanna bes and/or too fat to fit on a SS).
its pretty funny cause i ride through downtown oakville often and i see these rich men who have probably never held a wrench or leaned more than their gut pulled them down, on their harlys in their brand new super nice (expensive leather) and their cowboy boots acting all the **** and then riding back to their mansion to have their maid pull their boots off as they pet their persian cat and take their pepto to calm the mild wing they had 2 days ago! LOOL
.

^ This coming from the invincible rider that thinks that he doesn't need insurance... Clearly you waved back a few times and maybe lost control a little and it scared you...

I love the waves and the nods. The motorcycle community is awesome and like someone else mentioned above you never know when you just might need someones help.

Personally I love it when another rider waves, don't know why you are complaining. When they wave, you know they are checking out your bike. Plus, you feel acknowledged and know that others are looking out for you amoung those Thousand pound vehicles.

I was thinking the same thing...

Seriously this kid rides a 125cc and he's telling people to stop waving??? I'm pretty sure by the mere lack of waving from fellow riders you'd be begging to be included in the community wave.

Scooter and 125s .... no waves.....harleys get a wave...followed by the finger the second they dont wave back lol.

Anyone else wanna find out where he lives and ride circles around his house waving the whole time? Follow him around and wave every chance we get?

Tehehe

:hello2::jerk::thebirdman::hello2::blob2::headbang::hello1::salute::thumbleft::la::wav:

wow...some amazing ideas here...couldnt stop laughing...but i agree if you dont like to wave... get the **** off the bike and get a scooter

There is so much lol in the world today.

if it takes me 10000 waves to get a head tap, its worth it!

:)

Plus I like being part of the club.

Yeah baby! Well said girl :) +1

This is hilarious...We've got someone complaining that bikers are too nice, and someone else basically ranting (with all the right in the world) about drunkard idiots...any of this seem a little obvious to anyone but me?

Riders are all apart of a club, they are, for the most part, friendly!
Drunkards will be idiots, because well, rinse and repeat..they're drunk!

there you have it folks..*takes captain obvious hat off*
