Bringing the Bike to a Stop

So what I've been doing, based on the descriptions here is active downshifting and braking when the clutch is fully engaged. It has been smooth but I will try to practise on the technique described by Busabob (2 fingers brake 2 fingers blipping). Thanks!

just be careful. it's possible to crank on throttle while you think you're just squeezing the brake lever.

I would suggest practicing just blipping the throttle while maintaining constant pressure on the front brake lever (with the engine on, bike in neutral and clutch lever pulled back, foot on the rear brake -- just in case) until you get the hang of it.

Also practice squeezing the brake lever without moving the throttle (also with the bike in neutral, engine on, foot on the rear brake)
