As I recall you can add a shifter pedal to the DCT to shift gears that way as well. Guessing it would emulate a quick shifter and auto blipper.

I like it, I havent noticed any discernable difference in terms of handling.
and I can go back to using touring rubber now!

The big wide handlebar certainly provides a lot of leverage.

I feel like the pedal shifters are faster and easier than a traditional shifter.

i did ride a buddies manual AT AS and i was not a fan of the turn in. Guess i'm still looking for that 'sporty' handling.

They made some changes to the 1100

1100, coming from an XR i'm already used to decent leverage with a flat bar.

All this being said that was a 1 time 20 minute ride. I'm sure i'd get used to it, but first impressions were a little disappointing. And really, whose throwing around a 550lb bike with bags :D
