Bluetooth watches/phone display

No real improvement other then the band for the pebble steel. Thought they would come out with a sharper screen or maybe even make it a bit faster. For a $100 more not sure would buy the pebble steel in its current state. Looking forward to the app store and the development of this idea.

Should we have stuck with ps/2 connections or scsi connections as well instead of changing everything over to USB? It is not like Apple came out with one connection type one year, then the next year changed everything. The original connector from the original iPod has been around for over a decade. The new connection is smaller, simpler and I prefer it, especially when going back to an older iPhone or iPad to connect.

Being upset because of something like this is ridiculous. There are much more valid things to be annoyed at then Apple progressing with a simple change like this. There are adapters as well, just like there were adapters for usb to ps/2.

The idea of a smartwatch is appealing, but right now all the offerings look like crap. To many people (myself included) a watch is 50/50 utility and fashion. If a company came out with a more traditional (and preferably round) watch I'd probably pay a decent buck for it. At $250, the Pebble Steel looks like a turd to me. Then again I've always hated rectangular watches anyway...

The rumors is that googles offering may be round. but you looks allot fo screen area on round faces so don't hold your breath

Pebble just announced a new Pebble Steel watch (two styles, brushed stainless and a blackish metal). Thinner and a little smaller with metal bands. Also announced a Pebble App store coming soon so we don't have to go searching for apps all over the place. Nice !!

its nice but I'm still happy with the first model i ordered (steel bands hurt my arm hair) but this is a nice product and at $100 dollar less than the similar gear and sony offerings it will be interesting.

Yes of course, the Iphone 5x is coming out soon, then a few months later then same phone but with different colors will come out called the 5x.2 with a brand new Icharger and port hole so everyone can continue to support apple and spend money ;)

Trail blazing lol, the only thing they are innovative is on their marketing, probably best in the world and the fact that due to the sales App developers trip over to cater to them, if you remove the apps, the Operating system is really outdated. Flame away fan boys

Pretty much the case, Apples best days are done.

Waaaay to slow to adapt to the market. Their software sucks compared to Googles. Phablet *finally* supposed to be released some time in 2014, along with a bigger screened iphone 6, still no smart watch on the horizon, the much talked about killer Apple TV never materialized, talk of an "iPad pro" thats "coming soon" while Samsung and others have just released a Pro line of tablets........ and so on.

Now with Google Android moving in to cars and signing major automakers (audi, Honda, Hyundai, GM).... they will be left in the dust.

This was inevitable because Android is an open source platform for the most part whereas iOS is proprietary.
