When I was recently on a trip down south, a couple days into my trip, my Pactalk Bold helmet communicator broke. The little port on the communicator itself was just a gaping hole - somehow the port with the pins that your charging cable would mate with came free from the circuit board and came out of the unit. Lucky I had a spare unit that I bought for my wife and was able to get it brought to me by @V-Tom when he came down a few days later.
On Cardo's website I noticed that these products have a 2 year warranty and I was at 21 months! I called Cardo Support and the guy I talked to was super nice. He arranged a brand new unit for me which was sent express and I received it in 2 days. That's pretty sweet for a 21 month old unit with well over 50,000km of use on it!
They sent me an online survey regarding the customer service experience and once I submitted that, I was given a promo code for 35% off if I was interested in upgrading my JBL helmet speakers from my 40mm ones to 45mm ones. With the upgrade there's some additional stuff that makes the sound significantly better than the 40mm ones, beyond just the size of the speaker.
I used the code and just bought my upgraded speakers. Right after I bought them, on a whim I checked to see if the code would work for any of their other products, like the $600US Packtalk Bold Dual set and sure enough, it did and chops off over $200US!
