My Torch is a non stop email machine. That's all I expect my phone to do. Sun rise sun down. I also include the social media activity as part of my "emails". The torch sends it all down one long pipeline. I just interviewed with a big company this afternoon looking for a social media and online marketing manager. The BB10's hub looks like it could make that job a bit easier if I had to leave the desk with the increased online activity that would be expected. I can't give you a typical day. When I was in radio some days were 12 hour on location and my BB was my office. Some days I sat at my desk and jerked off.

Touch screen is way easier to clean after a wank or work while on the can. Z10 will open a whole new world for bb people

So, to sum it up:
You walk around with your face in your phone.
You ride around with your face in your phone.
You jog with your face in your phone.
You make endless posts about a phone you don't own from your phone.

Jesus H. Christ, open your eyes to the real world once in awhile. Do you ever take a minute to see what is around you or the people that are around you? How many times a day do you bump into people or cut them off because you are glued to your phone?
From your description of your day, in my mind's eye you must be like that lawyer from Cellular (the annoying part, anyway): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59Hx4xkMqKA

Yesterday was bad. My face was in my phone way too much, especially with the playlist stuff. Weekends, its rare to do much more than 30 mins of work to answer the odd spazz client. Sometimes I do some work on the side estimating. The thing is, the phone frees me from having my face in my lap top! Either way my work will have me buried in some screen. I would rather when I poke my head up I have great scenery, or I can work from home and go for walks or to the park when I am confident I can repsond via the phone as opposed to be thethered to my home laptop.

The note 2 didnt come with rocker media buttons. I missed that about bb and hated diving into the screen to change songs, especially while walking or running. I thought I had to make a trade off. Guess what, nope, there is an app for that; turns the power and volume rocker in to media buttons. So once again, head up and back to smelling the roses!

Reason #64453324 to go with BB.

I don't know what the percentages are, but the new Z10s are built in Canada AND Mexico.

You're kidding right? If it was built in Germany and Switzerland that would be a marketing plus. Ice skates and hockey sticks Canada's great...high end electronics...not so much.

No, no jokes here. You should be proud of RIM for choosing to assemble their phone without the need of hiring 10 year old chinese slaves to work around the clock for 10 cents a day and then commit suicide.

Thats something Samsung and Apple would do. :)

Live devices should be easier to find now. Costco Ancaster had a demo to play with.

The all touch keyboard is amazing! Easily best in class.

....with foreign tech.

....with foreign tech.

Most Japanese factories in North America are more "domestic" then their US counterparts.

Rather than criticize, You should salute them for helping out the North American economy and creating tonnes of jobs.

"Take the new Buick Regal, for example. According to AALA data, it has only 21 percent U.S./Canadian content and is assembled in Russelsheim, Germany. Meanwhile, the Honda Accord has 80 percent U.S./Canadian content and is assembled in Lincoln, Ala."

My point is that it would be better to be internationally recognised for home-grown innovation rather than as a landlord for foreign innovation. I'm glad the jobs are here but I'd be happier if Canada had a name for innovation.

We do, its just not in automotive. We are a country of 30 million people, can't invent everything. Its better for the country to use the best tech period, regardless of "where its from".

We don't invent that much period. Like I said before we're really good at digging stuff out the ground, perhaps internationally recognised for that...unfortunately some of that also comes with a bad reputation for treating foreign countries with a bit of disdain in the pursuit of the resources.

Firstly, we have a ridiculous amount of IP related to resource extraction, which regularly gets licenced abroad. Our innovation is related to our economy, that shouldn't be suprising. Thats why there is a big high tech industry blossoming in the West, you put that many engineers in the same place, things happen.

Secondly, as stated before we have 30 million people, any suggestion that Canada should forgo technology that is "foreign" at the expense of no one but the Canada consumer is just silly. Unless you plan is to get rid of just about every presciption drug out there to satisfy your "preference" that ppl should only use things invented by Canada.
