Really?

Why do you even care?

Not here to start an argument.. but I didn't say I did.
Just posting this because sure... there are many lane splitting and filtering out there, but this is much more stupid.
The rider went through the cars on the curve solid line at the beginning of the video. Then having a second rider follow and do the same. I wonder if that can be charged as street racing too.

exactly,dangerous for sure.

If this is how most people ride in the gta, it's no wonder why cars try to push me around on the 401 when I'm trying to ride back home. I've been yelled at for doing much less.

Why do you even care?

i tell you why i care.... because people see that build up a beef against bikers.
because police see that and are less forgiving. because insurance companies see that and raise insurance...

so i am just curious, why dont you care?

I would be more afraid of the brake checking cat at the beginning.

I didn't really see anything crazy there or a-hat bikers. I saw a couple of guys lane splitting. Yes it's kind of illegal here, but they weren't doing it super unsafely.

I don't care - Mind your own business

Cars do stupid **** everyday, we pay high insurance premiums because of the amazing stupidity of cagers, you don't see me bitching in here about them and video tapping them.

These guys did it pretty safe (except for the first one going through the solid line, he changed lanes to close and could have scared the "poor" car driver)

Cops will be ***** (mostly) no matter if we behave or not, unless you have a nice pair of tits!

So in my books this is filled as who the **** cares

I thought we were discussing the obvious lack of braking skill shown by the first car, and then the lack of merging ability shown by the next car.

Hahahah, is that what you guys think splitting or filtering is?!?! Every single pass those bikers made, there was space in the lane they were merging into! There wasn't a split in the clip! Nor filter!

OMG some of you are wound up so tight to think any of that was splitting.

Please please go visit a country or state where splitting is allowed and sample it first hand. Also note the lack of complete anarchy and chaos that DOES NOT ensue!

Man you guys should see how I drove back and forth from work for 7.5 years in the UK. Pfft. You guys getting all flustered like rookie cops looking to make your first bust is cute, really cute.

PS, when everyone does it, and stages a couple of rebellious protests it becomes legal...ahem, marijuana, anal sex, "war on drugs", adultery, booze, and oops yeah, splitting! Anyone remember the last time anyone they got a ticket for jaywalking? Yeah thought so. That's how splitting became legal in the UK by the way.

 Meh, nothing unusual here.
When driving my car or riding my motorcycle in GTA in the vicinity a motorcyle, I expect this style of riding and adjust accordingly for what will ensue.

^ yeah, not much 'splitting/filtering' just standard crossing solid lines, abrupt lane changing, etc. .. standard motorcycling in GTA (though the signaling IS unusual)

all this video proves to me is that the riders are just frustrated with all the left lane cruisers...look at how close all the cars are...so much for two second rule...bah, dumbass drivers...i don't blame the riders for trying to squeeze through...better than the folks trying to brake check...duh...

Didn't see any filtering here......

if you wana talk way back in the day.. well back in the day i used to compete with my friends how many cars i can pass within a given amount of time...

or i used to brew BT's off my dashboard while driving.. i used to go out to clubs and fight just for thrills. i would do MANY other things that i thought was okay. but looking back now it wasnt OK

my point is if you are in a jam like the dvp, just wait it out in a civil fashion like everyone else does. do you think those guys in the video did just that? u would bet they continued down untill the traffic cleared..

maybe i got old. i dont look at it like how i did 15 years ago but then muhammad ali has a great quote. "if i viewed the world the same way i did 20 years ago, that mean i have wasted 20 years of my life"

ride the way you want its a free country. but the more you do those moves the more you are at risk and thats why insurance goes up. not because of the cagers. its because bikers leave themselves excessivly vulnerable to cagers by riding like that

dont go complaining about brampton drivers and pacific mall drivers IF you are gona ride or approve of that sort of riding. cuz u are in the same class as those cagers.

Looking at the nearly concealed license plates, my first thought was uninsured turkeys.

I was thinking the same thing. At most maybe an attempted filter towards the end but that dodge neon/sx was still moving which created a predictable gap to maneuver through. All I see are low speed lane changes.
