Sorry to burst your bubble, but I doubt, that bke cop, knows the difference between restricted pellet guns and prohibited... the guy is a joke, that is probably looking for attention...

I've had them freeze the first time I went and it wasn't even that cold out. They stopped breaking when they hit people and just bounced off.

I've seen self defense ammo for paintball guns on eBay. Hard rubber casing with a ball bearing in the middle. I don't actually recommend buying/using them.

Even if you could get a paintball marker to shoot over 350fps, you'd shred the ball before it left the barrel. And if you did get a shot off, the ball would fly anywhere but where you were aiming.
 
Why not just use depleted uranium slugs against the bike thieves. You need stopping power to stop them with no?

But why? There's no revenue in arresting thieves. We should be putting in every effort to book people going 20-30 over the speed limit.
