Bike jacking gone wrong NSFW

Someone has to find the longer video that shows the guy lying on the ground after being shot and the owner of the bike yelling at him....Some people on another forum I saw that on translated the convo, and the guy was apparently asking for a drink. And the bike owner was apparently saying you'll get a drink in hell when you die...lol
 
A employee of mine is brazilian and told me about this incident and after the involvement of human rights activists protesting the shooting of the sack of **** . The policeman is in jail . But where would theses so called human rights activists be if the poor owner of the bike had of got toasted. Fricken criminals have all the rights.
Crazy crime down there kidnappings galore his sister was kidnapped and ransom paid out also people that drive any decent cars carry two wallets or purses one a dummy with minimal money due to all the armed robberies.

I don't think the policeman is in jail, at least not according to the news article I linked (as well as other sources I've read):

According to the PM, a preliminary analysis of the video shows that the action was "legitimate and correct." The criminal appears with one arm extended to the police and was holding the gun.
"The police, doing his duty, came out of his car to help the victim, realized the criminal pointing a gun in his direction and made two shots with his pistol point 40, hitting him in the abdomen and one leg," The officer showed preparation and commitment to the public cause," added the police.

Since i speak the language i thought i would try to get to the bottom of this and i had to sift through several of the news reports to figure this one out but supposedly the cop is not in jail, the confusion arose when some politician said during his speech in parliament that the cop was being punished with a six month suspension.

However the police chief has since then dismissed those comments by the politician and said the the shooting was justified and the actions of the officer were commendable and he has since been given a medal for the highest order that particular police force can give.

And no the robber did not die, he was shot in the abdomen and the leg and was release from hospital today, taken into custody and transferred to the local precinct for processing.

Thanks for the updates, gents. Would have been a more positive outcome for the Brazilian law-abiding citizens and taxpayers had it been the case, but alas.. I hope he gets a meaningful jail sentence at least.
