The thief got two shots. Leg and belly.
Unfortunately He was rushed to the hospital and the piece of garbage is alive. He's most likely going to visit jail for a few days or so and off he goes towards robbery world again. He's learnt the lesson and it won't me as nice as it was. He will *ALWAYS* kill the next victims regardless....

Even though the cop was on roids I wouldn't go far beyond drug counseling and docked salary as disciplinary action. You wave a gun at people and when the cops come, you don't drop it and come out with your hands up, you're askin' for it.
