I've just completed 20 seasons on my 2004 ZX10R. It has been fiddled with and adjusted to suit me, and the bike feels like it is one with me. I've not found anything I like more as a street bike.

I've had my street FZR400 for 24 years, and it's now 10 years since a complete teardown and rebuild. I know everything about it.

Broken, needs an engine. (Lost the con-rod big end bearing at 70,000 km)

Agreed. If you want huge midrange you’re stuck on a big twin but the XR has very strong midrange compared to anything else out there.
