The folks I know who have upgraded to the OEM “comfort” seat on their Tracers haven’t found it to be much of an improvement. The comfort seat with heating is intriguing - but man is it $$

Its the same for the FJR. Many don't find the Comfort Seat is good enough. Lucky for me, it is.
Yes, this is an amazing bike and very good value. Can't go wrong with a Honda St1100! You should buy it immediately.
BTW, it's my bike, just listed!

the last 10% of the throttle is where it's at...
I scream in my helmet on my RC8r all the time. ;-)
I have the KTM heated seat on my 1190 who thought this bike would ever need a heated seat may in minus 40 you could think about turning it on. The rest of the time it is plenty warm without help.

No it is fine for me but it can get warm when stopped in traffic.

Thanks. Does the same type of warmth occur on the 1290 Adventure, or was it something that just occured with the earlier models?

I'm headed to Apex on Thursday to sit on a bunch of bikes and will try to get out to GP next week to sit on a bunch more.
If you have time and you are out that way. Check out Two Wheel Motorsport. They had a decent amount of bikes when I was there last year a few times.
