It needs a SUPER fast card to do 1080p on scenes with lots of motion. When you load the Magic Lantern hack onto your SD card it has a super cool "buffer" graph that'll show you how slow your card is! Click record and shake the camera around like crazy, if the buffer gets into the yellow zone you need a faster card. Another option is you can lower the bitrate (still looks really good down to .7x) if you don't want to fork out for a card.Nice video Jamie. I also have that camera. Didn't know the T2i produces such awesome HD video. Maybe I need a better SD card lol
I tried a Patriot 10x SD card and lots of times it would drop some frames or pixelate. I picked up a Sandisc Extreme Class 10 now even on 200% bitrate I don't even buffer into the yellow! http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-Flash-memory-Class/dp/B002TQ6HT6
