Best option to mount my phone to my helmet/bike?

I think the side mount might be more interesting in the twisties at least for tiny bits of footage here and there. I’m going to put a mount on the front fairing as well to get a complete “just the road“ shot as well.
I do think the helmet mount will be the go to however.
I fully expect to come home with About 4 hours of footage that I will want to edit down into a two or three minute highlight video that anyone will want to actually watch lol.

I am a new biker. I got a new quad lock and when I was gonna install it on my fork stem I saw this plate screwed on the handle blocking open access to fork stem. Please help me understand what it’s for? Can I just unscrew it and install the mount?

Since that appears to be what’s holding your bars on I don’t think that’s a good idea. What bike is this, the plate looks a bit odd to me.

@PrivatePilot so how did you mount it to your helmet? I prefer that POV as well...I have a mount for the top of my helmet but don't like it there...looking at a chin mount but can't decide on what to get...any link to your set would be greatly appreciated!

I put my Hero 10 on a ram mount attached to the bars to one side of my screen. The stabilization on these new cameras is incredible. I don't think I need to try to mount it on my person. I could see the ram mount vibrate at times but it’s not apparent in the footage. Wind noise is bad but I have the media mod and will try using the rear facing mic instead of front.
