I just cannot believe that no one has mentioned O'Neill's and their infamous Pugger Burger. It's one pound of beef, cooked over open flames (gas, not charcoal, but still very good), and comes with a serving of onion rings for $7, last time I was there.

It is alright. I find it is a bit dry sometimes though. Their chicken fingers are pretty delicious. Fries are not bad.

Five Guys 4.5/5 (bacon cheeseburger everything on it)

I hate their American Cheese processed crap. But for sure the best burger I've had (but grilled mushrooms and onions, and BBQ sauce).

I prefer a "diner" (thin flattop grill) burger over a "BBQ" burger (thick, usually dried out from the flavour dripping out).

Five Guys was trash... completely unimpressed by their sloppy burgers and horribly overpriced menu items. If the meat doesn't taste any different than the crap from McD or BK, what's the point?

Went to Baldwin street burger again. The burgers are awesome and the salads are fresh made too. Really really excellent

In waterloo Ethel's Lounge or Frat Burger two completely different kind of burgers both are fantastic, also frat burger has fantastic poutine.

It took way too long to get a mention of Frat Burger. Best burger I've ever had.

Striploin steak goes through the grinder and becomes your burger, red pepper/mayo and grilled onion
It's $22.95, but you get fries with that.
