Can't be any worse than home now. Got a power bill through, $1100 for 3 months, up 50% based on previous 3 months and our habits haven't changed. Rego for my bike is now 900 for a year too boot.

I'm assuming it includes liability insurance.. It's about the same here, depending on your age, licence class, type of bike and the insurer.. For an FZR600 I had quotes ranging from $1000ish to $9000 and I was 27, had a clean record. Once I went over 30, I could insure it for $550 as it was too old to be surcharged as a SS bike by Jevco, but Jevco's gone.

Nope that is just rego. Insurance is seperate. And thats on a 650 hyosung... My v8 is cheaper on rego for the year.

I guess the grass is always greener on the otherside syndrome here. I seem to be finding every little fault with where I live now that I know i'm moving.

But yeah, living costs here are out of this world
