I too don't get the metro, groomed, body waxed, tanning booth men at all....confuses me, but so do guys with skinny jeans, mascara, and a rhinestone studded belt around their midrif (over the shirt), walking down the street holding hands with a hot looking lady......DO chicks think that's hot? I have no clue,LOL.....I wear plaid shirts, workboots, and get dirty for a living, so maybe I am not in a position to be judging anyone.

I think it's up to the girls/ladies/women to tell us what they think. It's their opinion that matters.

At the end of the day it matters not what I, or any other old twat, thinks about todays young men. Although, in saying that, I have serious doubts about anyone who spends more money on "product" than beer.

There was a study done on women who use birth control and what kind of men/partners they are attracted to...because of how the pill changes the hormones/chemicals of females it can make less-masculine men seem more attractive...it hasn't been proven 100% but does help explain why those hot girls you see are attracted to those "metro" guys.
 
I think they there is more general acceptance of men being more sensitive, into their looks and fashion, etcetera. Also, growing up a lot of kids were sheltered from fighting and bullying and so they are less "tough" perhaps. My ex has never been in a fight and there were a few times where things happened where he avoided confrontations because it would be guaranteed to lead to a physical fight and he had no idea how to fight or punch someone. That really bothered him.
I was chatting with a male friend of mine about how younger guys it seems these days, act really kind of rude and like they are doing women a favour by going out with them and he told me it is a new thing guys do and he doesn't get it but chicks go for it for some reason. Not sure if that is related but my guess is it would be.
Trying to get a bunch of guys on a biker forum to admit men are bigger pussies in general these days might be a stretch.

Women have always been attracted to money. Metro guys like to make chicks think they have it.
