Aprilia owners

Seller #4 might be the one.

Wait are we still talking about bikes?

Hey so uh...can I do a cash transaction at the bank? Where a bank employee counts and verifies the money and gives it to the seller? Feels much safer than potentially handing over a stranger a bunch of money in front of my/his house.

Bank draft?

Bank draft?
Easy enough to fake now.

I like transactions at the bank for large transactions. It can be cash, draft, whatever (preferably cash). Buyer asks the teller for it, teller puts it on the counter, seller picks it up. Hard to get a fake that way. I have access to an account at most banks so it's easy enough for me to deposit right away. I prefer transactions that happen outside of computers. They are harder for banks to unwind and screw you when there are two separate transactions.

Yes, but depending on the amount and your relationship with the branch, you may need to schedule it so they have the amount on hand. Still, they'll probably offer a no fee draft for their own convenience. At that point, a seller standing in the branch with you has little reason to doubt the authenticity.

Looking to getting a next bike and would appreciate the ownership experience of Aprilia riders/owners, how has it been?
I've heard from others a good dealer is important, and it sounds like studio cycle might be the best in the GTA now?

Bike will likely be a 70(street)/30(track)

Still shopping around, so not firm on make or model just yet

Thanks
Love my Aprilia.
Dorsoduro 750.
Beautiful Bikes.

Decision time, which one to go with, ima be disappointing a seller, and losing a deposit, but ballers dont care about that:

The last I saw of mine. Traded it to GP Bikes the summer of covid.

Didn't you say no more KTMs, or maybe it was just my imagination?
well I was hoping the 890 would be a bit more refined than the 1290

What year Tuono?

If you need to flash the official Aprilia race map to the ecu, I did it to mine (and several others).

If you need someone to walk you through potential issues, and things to watch out for, I'm not far from you.

The 1290 SuperDuke wasn’t refined enough? I love that bike.. I really do…
The motor was based off the 1190 RC8r motor, which has zero nanny aids. It’s a bit raw, and I love it…
The SuperDuke has nanny aids to help make it more rideable… nowhere near as raw as my RC8r.. And I love the SuperDuke too. It’s on my short list for my next bike 100%.

Sounds good

it will likely be a 21,
I believe the owner put a slip on and used a gabro race tune

its like going to a world class Michelin star restaurant, ordering an amazing meal with carolina reaper peppers in it, pretty intense stuff and delicious but not something I'd want to necessarily eat every day...
