Only a few guys need to bring. Why lug that around. Would be nice to divide things around so we know who's bringing what

Re: Anyone interested

I usually carry tire-fix kit and portable compressor... I'm up for a meet-up and ride before the actual trip.

Re: Anyone interested in a

mind the wheelies - that's a pretty good lever ;)

It takes a bit of work and attention to keep the front down, bike is a little crazy.

I have some 12volt outlets on the bike, so I tend to carry a small compressor, tire repair kit and basic tools. I run the bass pro top case and the givi's, should lots of room, after all it's only 5 days....don't think my current tank bag works on the ninja.....too much plastic...time to go shopping.

How is Monday for everybody? I am working this weekend....but off Monday.

I'm off on Mondays

Question, it looks like I can swap my Aug 3/4 shift for something in July. Any interest in leaving Sat instead of Mon?

Saturday works for me...

Regarding this Monday - my weekend plans are still all over the place - let me know what time so I can try to work it in...

I don't mind leaving Saturday instead of Monday.

This Monday works fine for me.

Re: Anyone interested in a James Bay Highway tour

Are you guys planning to book the dam tour? Be a shame to go all that way and miss it. It's the reason the road and Radisson exist. It's one of the largest underground power plants in the world, you can see the giant staircase from the satellite pics and it's pretty awesome to see in person. Best of all it's free - but you need to book in advance.

Enjoy the ride.

Re: Anyone interested in a James Bay Highway tour

Yeah I'm ****** we missed it - didn't even know about it :(

Re: Anyone interested in a James Bay Highway tour

So the shift swap is a no go, back to the 5th for me.

Daily at 1 pm, except Tues @ 2, english by appointment only. 48 hour advance booking for all. Takes 3.5 hours, no pacemakers allowed inside.

Do you guys still want to go for a ride tomorrow?

If so, what time and where to go?

Re: Anyone interested in a James Bay Highway tour

Sure, I'm thinking early before the traffic gets nuts, no idea of where to go.

Oh yeah... completely forgot about the holiday traffic that is going to be a mess on every route into the GTA.

Where is everyone located?

I am in Mississauga near Hurontario and Eglinton.

Markham
Are you thinking pavement or gravel?

Pavement.

By the responses here it seems to be just you and me Steve.
Rockerguy, adv-round, are you guys up for a ride tomorrow?

I don't mind heading that way. Or if you want to come this way we could meander up through Terra Cotta to Belwood Lake, stop in Elora at the gorge and head back. That ride will only take 3 hours or so; so we could meet up around 10 or 11 and still be back before the mad rush in the late afternoon.

I'm up for it - as long as I get up early enough :sleepy1: - I will do my best.
That route sounds good, btw. I'm in Oakville tomorrow (today)
