Any good deals on snowboards? I'm on the hunt for next season. Picked up a nice Spyder jacket from SportChek for 50% off. They still have a great selection (opposite Sherway Gardens)

my ski gear is over 5 years old... i want new stuff but i cant justify it. nothing is torn or worn...the north face stuff has really held up! as for the skis...theyre heavy and ****** compared to the rentals id tried 2 years ago...but oh well.. until the kid starts (next year) i wont really budget for it.

I am still a novice.
To me it seems the weather locally is just not favorable. It's damn freezing/ice or by the time the nice stuff falls, it rains the next day or so.
It's pointless boarding on ice imo.
thats the problem here, whether you get no snow. too much snow. freezing. melted snow. unless you get to take days off at any point in time, or you live in the area, the perfect days are usually somewhere midweeknot interested in freezing, that's no fun
still a novice and way too much effort to go to the US or other province for a day or 2
