Sounds like a good deal @PrivatePilot congrats! I’ve got the folding 4x8 if you need but I’m in Mississauga and it’s not enclosed (which I would recommend in this weather).
Ended up buying a 2008 from a fellow about an hour east of Ottawa.
Now, I just need to figure out how to get it home. The seller was nice enough to offer to hold onto it for me for a few weeks but the forecast doesn't look amenable anytime soon to do a 5 hour ride home, so I'm on the hunt for a trailer. The 4x6 Uhaul open trailer doesn't fit a Spyder apparently so I'm going to have to try to rent a snowmobile trailer or something somewhere.

In really great shape for the year, ran nice, and has a few farkles installed already as well as a nice set of Givi's which between the frunk and the bags is more than enough for the type of travelling we do, especially with all the storage on my scoot as well. Paid $7K which I was pretty happy with as well especially considering a few $10-$13K absolute turds I looked at. For the amount my wife may (or may not) ride this summer it was hard to swallow having $15-$20K sunk in something newer. An RT would have been nice, sure, but lets see how this one goes - if she rides the wheels off it this year then we can probably resell it for every dime we'll have in it and upgrade to a newer RT if she still wants one. But she seems pretty happy with this one thus far.

This might help:
Spyder RS in a uhaul trailer
Prior to picking up my 2008 RS, I did some Internetresearch and found numerous articles warning about using a uhaul trailer. I went to my local uhaul, measured twice, and came up with a plan. Uhaul had two 6x12 trailers. One with a fold down ramp, which as stated in previous posts, would not...www.spyderlovers.com
Not sure what area you live in, but we’ll be headed to Ottawa in the next few weeks and would be more than happy to trailer it back for you. Not sure if it helps or not, for reference I’m about 15-20 minutes west of Waterloo.
How wide are the Spyders? I’ve got access to both an enclosed and open trailer that are about 7’ wide.
Glad you’ve got the pickup sorted out!
