I demoed the FZ8 this year, it's comfortable, handles well, looks great, and has plenty of torque. Only thing that annoyed me was the clutch, but you get used to it.

That fz8 looks seriously cool.
How was the torque off the line?
What is the deal with the clutch? Is it a very narrow range of engagement?Oh ya I forgot about the clutch, yes it does take some getting used to and even experienced riders will stall the bike from time to time.

Thanks for all of your responses.
I pulled the trigger this morning and called Brantford Motorcycles, gave them a credit card number for a deposit and then went down and picked it up this afternoon.
I'll give a thumbs up to Brantford Motorcycles. We negotiated a trade-in value for my old bike that I felt was fair, considering it's late November. There were no hidden costs, and they didn't even charge for a licensing fee... simplest vehicle purchase I've ever made.
Now I just have to wait for spring. I think it's going to be a long winter.
BTW, I know what you guys mean with the clutch. I stalled it loading it on my trailer.
Thanks for all of your responses.

Congrats on your purchase!
What year and colour did you buy?

Thanks. It's a new 2012 red and white. Just like the one you had, except without all of the nice mods.
Those may take a little time. ($$$$)
