Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Is this really a surprise to anyone? I mean, Ford's only been building cars for 100 years longer than Tesla.
Exactly....the legacy makers know how to make CARS, not appliances.

Tesla is an IT company trying to build cars...2 very very different things.

The big manufacturers have for years copied the styling cues of some exotics.
Tesla styling hasn't been plagiarized. I wonder why. Lol

oh dear, in a world of established marques such as Rolls and Bentley, it absolutely mystifies me why anybody would pay starting$340kUS for this abomination.

remember, This is the company that once built the Cimarron.

check out that rear end : https://www.caranddriver.com/photos/g60887699/celestiq-at-cadillac-house-gallery/
Barf. Rappers and professional athletes are probably their target market. People that buy Richard Mille's will love that stinker.

Barf is right .... Gotta agree that rear end on the Celestiq ... how did that design ever make it to production?

Not on my shopping list but other than the really odd choice to make it a $340K hatchback I don't hate the styling of the Celestiq. And I like hatchbacks, but that tail is ugly, lets build a 340K halo product and graft the back end of an AMC Pacer on the back, but first we need to get the remaining guy from the Aztek design team to style it up first...

I am absolutely not a fan of the rear styling of several late model Cadillacs. (The Lyriq looks odd to my eye, too.) Fortunately, GM has multiple divisions that make multiple variations of what's more-or-less the same underneath, so if you don't like one, you can pick another.

So far, my favorite of the BEV3 vehicles is the Equinox. So happens to be the cheapest one. LOL

The $340K is USD IIRC. Canadian $$ with delivery and prep is likely~$500 K + taxes. I didn't fall in love with it and could buy an Audi or two or three instead with the same money.

The inevitable has happened. People are starting to polish cybertrucks. I'm glad there aren't many around, on a sunny day, this would be tough to be around.
