Do the hybrids you speak of allow access to the HOV lanes with a green plate?
It doesn't matter at the end of the day, using the current numbers just making a point that Volts and plugs ins dont make sense for many reasons.
I've been preaching Hybrids since Post #2 on this thread almost 2 years ago. Apparently, I have changed my tune.

Apparently you’re cherry picking your own posts.

Rear motor and rear wheel drive in that!
Hmmm, that might just be a big enough market. Make them easy to ride, gutless, and put a biga$$ amp and speaker to kick up the the electric motor whine to 100db.The problem with electric motorcycles is that the current battery technology just isn’t there yet to provide any sort of realistic range for riders who go further than their nearest Tim Hortons to pose....
It’s definitely the future Brian. In 10 years time I wonder what the ratio of EV’s to Gasoline powered cars sold will be, or if there will be gas powered cars in the show room at all.
I’m wondering what this change will mean to sport. Will we be looking at electric MotoGP bikes and we’ll be getting our gasoline fix from AHRMA and the VRRA? Formula E is already well established for 4 wheels.
Maybe VW and GM being proactive is not so dumb
